Prompt2Patch ("we", "us", "our") operates the prompt2patch.com website. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
Data We Collect
- Account information — email address and name when you sign up (via email or OAuth)
- Prompts — the text descriptions you submit for preset generation. We may store these to improve our AI models.
- IP address — used solely for rate limiting (3 free generations per day). Not stored persistently.
- Usage analytics — page views and anonymous interaction data via Vercel Analytics to improve the service
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card details.
How We Use Your Data
- To generate synthesizer presets based on your prompts
- To authenticate your account and manage subscriptions
- To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
- To improve preset quality through aggregated, anonymous analysis
Third-Party Services
- Google Gemini API — your prompts are sent to Google's Gemini AI model for preset generation. See Google AI Terms.
- Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions. See Stripe Privacy Policy.
- Vercel — hosting and analytics. See Vercel Privacy Policy.
Data Retention
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Prompts and generation history may be retained for up to 12 months for quality improvement. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us.

We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). Vercel Analytics uses privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics. We do not use advertising cookies.
