Terms of Service

By using Prompt2Patch ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Prompt2Patch Does

Prompt2Patch is an AI-powered tool that generates synthesizer preset files (.vital) for the Vital synthesizer by Matt Tytel. You provide a text description, and the Service produces a downloadable preset file.

2. Usage Limits

• Free tier — up to 3 preset generations per day
• Pro tier — unlimited generations with a paid subscription
• We reserve the right to adjust limits, throttle, or suspend accounts that abuse the Service

3. Generated Content

• Ownership — presets you generate are yours to use freely, including in commercial music productions
• No exclusivity — the same prompt may produce similar presets for different users
• No warranty — generated presets are provided "as is". We do not guarantee that they will sound exactly as described or work in all versions of Vital

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated scripts to mass-generate presets beyond normal usage
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, attack, or disrupt the Service
• Submit prompts containing illegal, harmful, or abusive content
• Resell access to the Service or its API

5. Subscriptions & Payments

• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe
• You can cancel at any time — access continues until the end of the billing period
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase

6. Intellectual Property

Prompt2Patch is not affiliated with Vital Audio or Matt Tytel. Vital is a trademark of Vital Audio, LLC. The Prompt2Patch software, branding, and underlying AI models remain our intellectual property.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of generated presets, service interruptions, or data loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
